The Coherence Cohort is a movement of presence— and there is a chair with your name on it.

The reason we gather

Somewhere along the way,we lost the art of wondering.

A child never asks a question to be efficient. A child asks because the world is still worth wondering about — no agenda, no hurry.

Then we grow up and learn to have opinions — ready before the question is even finished, carried by the energy of convincing. We hurry from conversation to conversation, so certain of what we already think, and we miss the most surprising thing in the room: the story behind the person in front of us.

The world around us is hardening into sides. Us or them. Good or bad. Right or wrong. Belonging or not belonging. The rhetoric grows louder, the decorum thinner, and what quietly breaks is the space between people — the space where connection used to live. We have never been so informed, and never so fragmented.

The Coherence Cohort is a different way forward. Around small, carefully hosted tables we practise child's wonder — to pause, to be genuinely interested, to suspend what we think we know long enough to be surprised, to let curiosity lead us into something new and unexpected.

Because something beautiful is always waiting behind an opinion — an intriguing story, an unlikely connection, a moment that quietly changes the week you go home to. Attention, intention and curiosity will find it — if we give them time.

Pause. Be genuinely interested. Be surprised.
